Introduction
Air Rescue UK has a wealth of experience in Military & Commercial All-Weather SAR, many of our Instructors and Staff have been responsible for such projects as Oil and Gas SAR in East Africa, Kazakhstan, Romania and also played a significant part in the set up of Shell Brunei SAR as well as being instrumental in the successful stand-up and continued operation of the UK MoD Falkland Islands SAR contract providing 24/7 SAR in some of the most in-hospitable maritime environments world wide.
Our Mission is to be the number one support for Helicopter Operators in Europe, the Middle East, Africa and further afield, who need to provide Hoist Operations for Search & Rescue, HEMS, Law Enforcement & Commercial Air Transport.
We will deliver our mission for partners and customers through Support for Hoist Operation Delivery; through Training Delivery; through Standardisation; and through Consultancy Projects.

We recruit from experience and train for optimum performance.
Ian has been flying hoist equipped helicopters since 1984, and has held senior managerial positions in the UK Military and multi-national companies.
His depth of experience as a Hoist Operator and Instructor in SAR and other Operations alongside his business acumen lends strength to Air Rescue UK Ltd's future growth.

From a Military background Trevor’s SAR flying career started on an Oil & Gas contract in the North Sea. Since then he has continually operated as a Hoist Operator, Winchman and Instructor on SAR and HEMS Rescue fro Kazakhstan to the Caribbean and from Africa to the southern tip of South America. His understanding of operational requirements is second to none
Air Rescue UK Ltd recruit for experience. Our Team above who transitioned the 'stand-up' of the UK MoD Falkland Island Contract have a combined experience of >120 years flying Hoist Equipped Helicopters mainly in the SAR Role.

2 Long Range SAR Ops in one day
On the 18th Jan Air Rescue UK Crews were involved in 2 separate SAR Ops approx 175NM NE of the Falkland Islands. Strong Gale - 41-47 knots, Sea State 6 Very Rough. The Crew amassed 8hrs 14 mins of flying over the 2 SAR Ops
Crew missing from vessel (Squid Jigger) on fire
On the 11 Feb Air Rescue UK crews were involved in the search for missing crewmen from a Squid Jigger on fire 90NM noth of the Falkland Islands. Conditions on scene Near Gale 28-33Kts, Sea State 5 Rough.
